IRCDL is a yearly deadline for Italian researchers on DL related topics. The aim of this 5th Italian Research Conference on Digital Libraries is to bring together researchers interested in the different methods and techniques that allow to design and build digital library systems, with a particular focus on the design of innovative personalized services for the final users of the future European Digital Library (Europeana).
The IRCDL conferences have been launched and sponsored by DELOS, an EU FP6 Network of Excellence on digital libraries (DELOS Web site) from 2005 to 2008.
IRCDL 2009 is sponsored by the DELOS Association and the Department of Information Engineering of the University of Padova.
Submissions of extended abstracts (not exceeding 8 pages) should be sent electronically in PDF to ircdl at dei dot unipd dot it by
December 11, 2008.
For the submissions the authors have to refer to Authors Instructions of the Springer-Verlag LNCS Proceedings. Accepted extended abstracts in PDF will be published in on-line proceedings (max 12 pages) at the time of the conference and presented at the conference.
Full version of accepted extended abstracts will be published after the conference in the form of papers in a volume of post-proceedings. For information on the post-proceedings of the conference series please refer to IRCDL Home Page.
